So here I am in the hospital....

I'm ok, kind of. I had a pretty bad cold for awhile then I started wheezing and coughing and couldn't breath. I lack health insurance and have little in savings so I was trying my best to not go in to the hospital but when I was doubled over wheezing so loud I couldn't hear anything and couldn't breath I didn't have a choice...

I arrived around 4am and was quickly given air and what not. Right now I'm doing well. I think the chest cold and the fact I have Asthma (but I have not had a case of it since I was 8)caused the attack. I'm on air and breath therapy right now, the doctors are not really giving me an idea when I can go home...some say maybe this afternoon maybe this weekend.

I'm breathing alright as long as I don't walk around too much, my IV aches a little (they put it too close to the bend of my arm) they took blood around 4:30am and yesterday they took 'arterial' blood...that means from the artery in my wrist and the doc missed a few times! I hate needles....

Just thought folks might want to know whats going on.

God I hate hospitals, been in and out of them sence I was a kid. You know how accedent prone I am. If there is anything you need, anything at all dont hesitate to call or contact. Ill do anything I can to help, even hitchike again.

NO HITCHHIKING!! Everyone is really nice up here and I might get away without having to pay the bill.

I just got out of the cat-scan...I'm barely wheezing (if at all) but my lung and breathing seem low, about level with minimum but bellow average. No one is quite sure why I'm so low right now.

Thanks Dax, I can breath alright just now but I get winded just walking around the hospital floor but I'm not wheezing when I breath.

When I saw your journal I got scared, real scared. I love you and would do anything no matter how big or little to help. I was afrade it was pnemonia or something. I just want you to be safe and OK.

I know big fella, I'm ok not going to die or anything. I was a little worried it might have been lung cancer but the catscan probably didn't pick anything up

You know me, I just tend to think worse case...the nurse said if the cat scan folks noticed anything they usually say something to her and they didn't seem to notice anything right off the bat...the doctor was thinking blood clot
